I am fortunate to have a background blend of cosmopolitan influences and Midwestern values, as my mother is a native of Greece and my father was a Hoosier. My father, a career employee in the State Department/Foreign Service, met my mother during his first post in Greece. I was born in Athens, Greece and am fluent in the language. Because of my father’s employment, I have had the opportunity to live most of my youth in several global locations including Liberia, Brazil, Greece, England and Washington D.C.
I attended my first year of college in England and then transferred to Indiana University for my sophomore year. Upon my graduation, I began my real estate career in Indianapolis. I have extensive exposure to both the sale and the appraisal of real estate since 1984 and earned my Senior Residential Appraiser (SRA) designation from the Appraisal Institute in 1990. The SRA demands the highest qualifications and professionalism for a residential appraiser. I have valued or reviewed appraisals for over 5,000 residences during my appraisal career. Through my experience in active metropolitan markets, I have effectively estimated value and market trends for differing market segments from rural to urban to multi-million dollar residence
Since 1996, I have been putting my experience, knowledge and education to work for me as a Realtor in Naples. My target market is the person, not the area, thus most of my business comes through referrals and past clients. Real estate knowledge is the foundation of my background, but service is my passion. I have developed the necessary tools to position you properly in the Naples real estate market. In today’s internet world and global economy, I find it important to continually educate myself in all aspects of real estate and have earned through courses offered by the National Association of Realtors, several specialty certifications including CIPS, Certified International Property Specialist; TRC, Transactional Referral Certification; and GRI, Graduate Realtor Institute.
A small town girl from Ohio, I have been visiting Naples since the early 1970’s and made it my home since the 1990’s. My husband Dan and I added Anna, our Cavalier King Charles, to our family in 2006. Like you and many others, I was drawn to Southwest Florida for the tropical weather and the outdoor lifestyle and activities. A proud graduate of Butler University, (and resident of Indiana for many years), I have enjoyed their recent success in NCAA basketball and love to meet former Hoosiers and Butler Bulldogs alike when they visit.
Playing tennis, walking the beach, teeing up at the golf course, enjoying strolls along 5th Avenue, or spending an afternoon of gardening; all are available year round in Naples. My clients remain important to me years after the “sale” and I enjoy finding the “right” home at the “right time”. With a professional attitude and attention to detail I am committed to serving my buyers and sellers and providing a rewarding experience.
